Their determination and ability to survive and start anew, created in him, a strong desire to work in a profession that directly interacted with people and to provide for their health and welfare.
There were several different career paths that one could choose, but Podiatry appealed to Dr. Rudman on several levels. During the mid-seventies the "running craze" was in full force. Podiatrists were developing a niche as the experts in foot and ankle Biomechanics and were developing as experts in the non-surgical ways in which to treat foot, ankle and leg pathology. At times even reducing back and knee pain with Biomechanical expertise.
As Podiatric training and exposure to hospital settings began to blossom, so did their surgical and medical training. Dr. Rudman was at the forefront of this revolution in medicine, and takes pride in continually learning and upgrading his skills to provide the best possible care to his patients.
Dr. Rudman graduated from the four-year program at Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, then completed his residency at St. Luke's and Children's Medical Center/ Giuffre' Medical Center in Philadelphia.

He was the Founding and Initial Chairman of Podiatry Services at both Elliot and CMC Hospitals. He has served his profession and the people of New Hampshire as a ten year member and Chairman of the Board of Registration in Podiatry and two terms as the State President. Currently he serves as the Alternate member to the APMA national convention. In 2005 he was named Podiatrist of the Year by his peers, an honor made possible by the patients he serves.
He enjoys sports, especially skiing, cycling and martial arts. His wife is a school teacher at Central High School. Dr. and Mrs(Denise) Rudman have two daughters that have graduated from Central and have finished college, starting careers of their own.
He feels very blessed to have such a large and diverse practice and owes much of his success to his patients and staff, as well as the people of Manchester and Exeter that have shown their trust and confidence in him over the years.
