Our Doctors work in very close association with the Trinitas Regional Hospital Wound Care Center, which gives patients suffering from chronic wounds the opportunity of being monitored by highly specialized wound care nurses under doctor’s supervision.

Dr. Morteza Khaladj
Dr. Morteza Khaladj

Dr.Morteza Khaladj, holds a degree in podiatric medicine and surgery from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He has been in private practice since 1989 with the establishment of Elizabeth Foot & Ankle Associates. Dr. Khaladj serves as Chief of Podiatry and Residency Director of the podiatric surgical residency program at Trinitas Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Khaladj is a leading specialist in lower extremity wounds in the New Jersey and has lectured on chronic wounds in the lower extremity for kci, Novartis, and internationally as visiting professor at iama in Iran.

Dr. Khaladj is board certified in podiatric medicine and is a member of the American Professional Wound Care Association

Dr. Shellie Auguste
Dr. Shellie Auguste

Dr. Auguste graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2010.

During her time at New York City Podiatric Medicine, she was an active member in extra-curricular activities and received the apma Educational Foundation Scholarship and the Jonathan Robertozzi Memorial Scholarship.

Dr. Auguste then completed her 3 year surgical residency at Trinitas Regional Medical center in Elizabeth New Jersey where she was trained extensively in surgical and non surgical treatments of the foot and ankle. During her training she gained extensive experience in the management of diabetic wounds and limb salvage surgeries

During her training at Trinitas, Dr. Auguste participated in the Bako Dermatopathology Mini Fellowship and the Hyperbaric Medicine Training.

In 2013, Dr. Auguste joined Elizabeth Foot and Ankle Association. Dr. Auguste interacts with her patients with compassion and respect and provides comprehensive podiatric care.

She is a Board Certified Diplomate in American Board of Podiatric medicine with a Certificate in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care. She is also hbo certified.

Dr. Georgios Kotzias
Dr. Georgios Kotzias

Dr. Kotzias is Board Qualified in Surgical & Medicine Boards and is certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine

He is an alumni of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed an intense 3 year residency at Trinitas where he received advanced training in foot/ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and reconstructive surgery of the lower extremity. During his third year of residency he also served as chief resident.

Dr. Kotzias has a special interest in foot/ankle surgery, minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, orthotics, strapping and bracing, diabetic wound care, diabetic limb salvage, and pediatrics.

Dr. Kotzias is dedicated to providing his patients both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for all podiatric pathologies.

Dr. Ayesha Mohiuddin
Dr. Ayesha Mohiuddin

Dr. Mohiuddin is originally from the Midwest, where she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a masters degree in public health from Benedictine University. She is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine-class of 2012.

After completing her 3 year residency at Trinitas, she decided to pursue a fellowship in advanced wound care and tissue healing at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. During her training, Dr. Mohiuddin treated complex pathologies in the lower extremities, including diabetic and traumatic wounds.

Dr. Mohiuddin is Board Certified Diplomate in American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is hbo certified.
