At Columbus Podiatry & Surgery, Dr. Tiffany Liu, Dr. Animesh Bhatia , Dr. Alan Block and Dr. Sarah Abshier believe that a doctor and patient become a team for treating an individual's feet. Our physicians spend most of their time listening to understand your concerns and responding with the best treatment options for you. With the help of our professional staff, they try to make sure that problems are resolved and your health improves.

Animesh (Andy) Bhatia, D.P.M., C.W.S.
Columbus Podiatry & Surgery is under the direction of Dr. Animesh Bhatia. He has been in practice for over 15 years, providing medical e is active in the community along with his wife and two children and plays tennis, football and volleyball and is an avid follower of Cleveland's profeand surgical solutions for foot and ankle conditions to the Columbus community across all age groups. He has special interests in the areas of chronic wounds and limb salvage. He currently serves as a wound consultant to over 25 acute, rehab and long-term care facilities in Central Ohio. He is the Assistant Medical Director of the Wound Clinic at the Fairfield Medical Center. He also has a keen interest in research, participates in clinical trials in wound care, and regularly lectures at national wound care seminars. He is a board certified wound specialist, a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management and a diplomate of the American Academy of Wound Management.
Dr. Abshier is the newest addition to the practice with a special interest in surgery and wound care. She is currently involved in epidemiologic research pertaining to hepatitis and diabetes. She is an advocate of preventative medicine and believes that patient education should be a priority in the field of medicine.
A native of Seattle, she received her Bachelor of Science
from the University of Washington with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Russian. Her doctorate was obtained from Temple University in Philadelphia and she attended a surgical residency in Dayton Ohio. Dr. Abshier is Board Certified in Wound Care. She currently resides in Worthington and her personal interests include running, rock climbing, entertaining, and cooking.
Dr. Alan Block has joined our practice since August 2015. Dr. Block is a nationally recognized expert and educator in amputation prevention and peripheral arterial disease. He serves as a keynote presenter around the country and his inspirational lectures are unparalleled. Dr. Liu is originally from northeast Ohio and received her BA degree from Case Western Reserve University. She attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine for her doctorate and completed a three year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Kennedy University Health System with an added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. She also underwent a mini-fellowship in Alpharetta, Georgia with Bako Pathology focusing on biopsy techniques, podiatric dermatology and dermatopathology.
Dr. Liu has a special interest in pediatric injuries and deformities, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and podiatric dermatology.
